AFU's strike on Sevastopol: Russia reports 30 eliminated occupants and three damaged aircraft
In the evening of March 23, Ukrainian aviation attacked a communications center, two ships and several other Russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The invaders admitted the hit to the communications center in Sevastopol only, claiming 34 dead and dozens of wounded.
The Russians also reported three damaged aircraft. The sad consequences of the powerful attack on the peninsula were reported by a Telegram channel that propagandists call pro-Ukrainian.
The authors of the publication cited sources in the Russian Defense Ministry and among the Russian army personnel stationed in Sevastopol. They claim that the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a "well-camouflaged" command post, where "more than two dozen officers were present at the time of the strike."
In addition, as a result of "falling debris from downed missiles", three Russian Su-27 aircraft were damaged at the Belbek airfield. It is noted that one of the fighter-bombers was seriously damaged, while the other two "will almost certainly be repaired."
In addition, the Russians confirmed strikes on the location of the Russian Black Sea Fleet marines. They say there are serious casualties there. In total, 34 soldiers were killed in the attack (11 of them officers), and about 40 more occupants were wounded.
"How the enemy found out about the really well-camouflaged military facilities is a rhetorical question. Unfortunately, the number of traitors in Sevastopol is not decreasing," the allegedly pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel said.
On the evening of March 23, there were direct hits in the area of Kozacha Bay. The attack on Russian targets in Sevastopol was confirmed by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, who said that "the sky and sea are of the same color" in Crimea and thanked Ukrainian pilots and sailors for their successful combat work.
On the morning of March 24, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a successful strike on the occupiers' communications center in Crimea, the destruction of large landing ships Yamal and Azov, as well as several other infrastructure facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol the previous evening.
As reported, on the morning of March 24, about two dozen explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied village of Hvardiiske (Crimea). Preliminary, the occupiers' oil depot was hit, after which the invaders began to evacuate the residents.
