Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has called for Russian athletes to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in a neutral status. The spokesperson for dictator Vladimir Putin added that Russian athletes have allegedly stopped being required to condemn the war in Ukraine.

Peskov said this in a commentary to the propaganda publication Argumenty i Fakty. The accomplice in Russia's war crimes against Ukraine and its people noted that athletes who would condemn Russian aggression in order to participate in the main event of the quadrennial, "would be a fiend hell."

"Of course, no one here could have imagined that a Russian athlete would sign a paper condemning the war in Ukraine for the sake of participating in the Olympics, and sell his homeland for these pieces of silver. Anyone who would do so would simply become a fiend of hell. But now there seems to be no such prerequisite, and everyone who has qualified can go to the Olympics. It's a matter of personal decision for athletes and federations," Peskov said.
