Mamiashvili criticized the IOC

The President of the Russian Wrestling Federation (RRFI), Mikhailo Mamiashvili, is outraged by the conditions for the admission of Russian athletes to the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The winner of the Seoul '88 Games was outraged by the restrictions on representatives of the aggressor country and demanded that they be applied to Ukraine and Israel.

Mamiashvili said this in a comment to Sport24. The head of the FSB added that there is no reason to ban athletes from Russia from performing with their national flag and anthem, and also criticized the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

"Why should we be happy? Why should we not have been allowed in? Better ask them this question: what were the grounds for these restrictions? Where in the charter is this justified? Unfortunately, we see tragic events continuing to take place. Have you heard anything similar about restrictions on these countries? No. It's hard to say in terms of forecasts. Those who are selected will go and represent our country. We are preparing," Mamiashvili said.

Earlier, he said that in Ukraine there is "absolute meanness, absolute evil" and Russia is "invincible before a pack of jackals."

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the president of the National Committee of Ukraine Vadym Gutzeit called for preventing Russians from participating in the Olympics, recalling the recent expulsion of Russia from the IOC.
