"What are the words of a frogman worth?" Valuev lashes out at Macron with insults
Former heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev spoke insultingly of French President Emmanuel Macron, who called for an Olympic truce. The State Duma deputy cynically called such proposals inappropriate.
Valuev said this in a comment to the Sport24 portal. The accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime called Macron a frogman and also made a ridiculous proposal to Macron, who should allegedly demand a ceasefire from Ukraine and Israel.
"Did he only call on Russia? Why didn't he offer this to Ukraine and Israel? What are the words of a frogman who threatens to send his soldiers to kill Russians worth? It's a ridiculous proposal!" said Valuev.
Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin commented on Macron's words no less hypocritically. He said that Russia allegedly "wants to build good neighborly relations between the two states," and called it "utter cynicism" to demand that Russia stop killing Ukrainians.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov demanded that the IOC ignore Russia's military aggression against Ukraine and not be interested in this topic at all. In turn, Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin unexpectedly opposed the boycott of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
