Valuev spoke about the fight between Usyk and Fury

Former world heavyweight champion Nikolay Valuev expressed hope that the fight between Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) will take place. At the same time, the deputy of the State Duma of the aggressor country noted that our compatriot allegedly does not have many chances to win all the belts of the super heavyweight division.

Valuev said this in a commentary to Sport24. The former boxer, who vehemently supports Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin and Russia's criminal war against Ukraine, pointed to the difference in class between Fury and Daniel Dubois (19-2, 18 KOs), whom Usyk knocked out in a fight on August 26.

"If the fight between Usyk and Fury takes place, Usyk certainly has a chance to win, but very small. He deserved to win the fight with Dubois. There can be no doubts. Everything was seen in the ring. But it will be harder with Fury," Valuev said. Before that, he called the Ukrainian champion's victory over the British challenger deserved.

Fury's promoter Frank Warren, who also handles Dubois' affairs, named the tentative dates for Tyson's fight with Usyk. Legendary Russian Kostya Tszyu considers the fight challenging for Oleksandr but called him the best super featherweight in the world at the moment.

The Usyk-Dubois fight ended in the 9th round when the Briton missed a heavy blow to the head. In total, Daniel missed 88 punches to the body and head from the Ukrainian.

The British boxer hit our compatriot below the belt in the 5th round. Usyk has been lying in the ring for 5 minutes. At the end of the meeting, Dubois' team said that they did not agree with the result and filed an appeal.

Usyk himself could not hold back his emotions during the press conference after he was accused of wearing shorts too high. Vasyl Lomachenko also commented on the result of the Usik-Dubois fight but he did it terse and in Russian.

Russian boxer Dmitry Kudryashov mocked the Briton for refusing to continue the fight with the Ukrainian. He also added that Usyk should thank the referee for his success. Russian promoter Vladimir Khryunov called Oleksandr a coward after the fight.

It is known that Dubois was suspended from boxing after the defeat. The reaction of Kateriyna Usyk to the fight appeared online. In addition, the media found out what Oleksandr said to the British after the fight.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the World Boxing Association (WBA) commented on the scandal in the fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois. The World Boxing Council (WBC) made a similar move. Tyson Fury's team commented on the fight between the Ukrainian and the British for the first time.
