Usyk - Fury: Tyson's impressive fee is announced

World Boxing Council (WBC) belt holder Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) will earn up to 200 million euros for his fights against Francis Ngannou and Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs). The Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is known, will receive the biggest payday of his career.
Fury's promoter Bob Arum said this in an interview with Boxing News. He didn't specify how many fights Fury will have with Usyk, but given that the Briton and Ukrainian are scheduled to meet in the winter, this confirms Eddie Hearn's words about the rematch option in the contract between the boxers.
"When you have money on the table, it's easy to organize a fight. The deal is structured in such a way that neither guy is concerned about how much the other will earn. They will earn fees they have never seen before. They are both happy. I didn't say that Fury would earn $100 million for this fight. I said that we are trying to do everything for that. I believe that by the end of June, Tyson will earn a check of 200 million. Is there a rematch? I don't know, I'm not investing my money in this fight," Arum said.
On September 29, it became known that Usyk and Fury signed a contract for a fight for the title of absolute world champion. The media found out that the fight will take place before the New Year or in January.
Earlier, former world champion in two weight categories Paul Malignaggi expressed confidence that Tyson would avoid the fight. And former European Boxing Union (EBU) champion Spencer Oliver predicted Usyk's defeat in the fight against Fury.
As OBOZREVATEL reported earlier, Russian fans have started wishing Oleksandr Usyk a defeat against Tyson Fury. The legendary Mike Tyson gave his prediction of the fight between the Ukrainian and the Briton. Our champion's former rival Mairis Briedis also spoke about the fight.
