Arum talks about the fight between Usyk and Fury

The teams of Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) have resumed negotiations on a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. The boxers are set to sign a contract and become headliners of a grand show to be organised by Saudi Arabia in December.

This was stated in an interview with the Ringside Reporter YouTube channel by the promoter of the Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is known, Bob Arum. He confirmed the existence of negotiations with the promotional company Skill Challenge Entertainment, which is organising the boxing event.

"Yes. That's right. Negotiations on the Fury-Usyk fight are ongoing. I spoke with a representative of Skills Challenge, who organise boxing tournaments in Saudi Arabia. We know these people, we've worked with them before, so we know who the players are in the market, and we've had some very interesting talks with them," Tyson's representative said.

Recall that Saudi Arabia intends to organise the Usyk-Fury and Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) - Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) fights on the same night. Later, the media published the boxers' fees for the grand show. The total amount will be at least $250 million. At the same time, Anthony has already confirmed his fight against Deontay.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Skill Challenge Entertainment promoter Amer Abdallah confirmed that the organisers in Saudi Arabia already have a date for Usyk's fight with Fury and Joshua's fight with Wilder. He also announced the threat of disqualification of participants in the upcoming tournament.
