Unified heavyweight world champion Alexander Usik (20-0, 13 KOs) has again talked about the fact that in the future he may run for the presidency of Ukraine. Speaking about the end of his career, the boxer noted that he intends to realize his main goal - to win all the belts of the division.

Usik said this in an interview with TNT Sports. He emphasized that the title of absolute world champion will be his legacy in world sport, after which he will complete his performances in the ring. At the same time, Alexander has no plans what he will do next.

"This is my journey. I have to finish my journey, and the Ultimate Fighting Championship title is part of that journey. When I finish it, I don't know what will happen. I'll probably take another path, another path. Maybe I will become the head coach of the national team and prepare Ukrainian boxers for the Olympic Games, or maybe I will run for president," Usik said.

As a reminder, Usik will make a mandatory defense of his titles against Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) in Wroclaw on August 26. If he wins, Alexander hopes to unify all the super heavyweight belts in a fight with Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs).
