The head of promotion company Top Rank Bob Arum believes that if Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KO) beats Vasyl Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KO) he will move up to welterweight. Because of that, his WBC, WBA Super, IBF and WBO lightweight titles will become vacant and the Ukrainian will have to spend a huge amount of time to collect them.

"If it happens that Lomachenko loses and Haynie drops the weight class, all the belts will become vacant. Then Lomachenko will have to fight a hell of a lot of fights to become the outright world champion in the lightweight division," Arum said.

The promoter is sure that this is what Loma had in mind when he said in his interview that this was his "last chance".
