A well-known expert made a confession

Former Dynamo head coach Alyaksandr Khatskevich has admitted that his main mistake was going to Russia. He was the coach of Rotor from December 2019 to March 2021. Under his leadership, the team played 26 matches, winning 7 and losing 14.

After spending 15 months in Volgograd, the Belarusian was fired, despite the fact that he led Rotor to the Premier League for the first time in 16 years. At the same time, the Russian club announced Khatskevich's dismissal before even informing him of it.

In an interview with the zhizn-malina YouTube channel, the 50-year-old native of Minsk described the country where he worked for a year and a half in one word.

"What is my main football mistake? We've already talked about it. I admit that it was a trip to this f***ing Volgograd, this f***ng Russia," Khatskevich said.

It should be reminded that Alyaksandr managed Dynamo Kyiv from 1994 to 2006. The Kyiv club, led by Khatskevich, played 105 matches, winning 62. Another 24 ended in a draw.
