"They will torture us": Russian national team coach complained about suspension
Senior coach of the Russian national gymnastics team Valentina Rodionenko has accused the International Olympic Committee (IOC) of allegedly organizing a real tyranny towards Russian athletes. She expressed confidence that her team will be admitted to the Games-2024 in Paris only if "everything works out well" in the criminal war against Ukraine.
This was stated by Rodionenko on the air of the propaganda channel "Match TV". The former gymnast added that Russian athletes faced agony due to the suspension from international competitions and uncertainty with participation in the Olympic Games-2024.

"We have the opportunity to participate in tournaments next spring in order to win licenses for the Olympic Games. That's all I can say at the moment. However, this is all talk for now. So far we can only speculate. My opinion is as follows: until the situation with the UEFA (as the Russian Federation shamefully calls the war with Ukraine - ed.) is determined, they will torment us. If everything goes well with us, many countries will change their attitude," Rodionenko said.
Earlier, the coach with the words "it surprises me" said that she does not understand why Ukraine seeks to "remove Russia" from world sport.
