"There is a specific date": New details of Usik vs.

Alexander ChekanovSport

Ukraine's Oleksandr Usik (20-0, 13 KOs) and Great Britain's Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) are getting closer to meeting in the ring to decide the outright heavyweight champion of the world. The boxers are scheduled to fight in December in Saudi Arabia, and the local organizers of the big show have already decided on the date.

Amer Abdallah, head of boxing for Skill Challenge Entertainment's promotional company, told iFL TV's YouTube channel. According to him, the fans of boxing and the whole sport will be able to witness a perfect new level of the tournament.

"Yes, we already have a specific date for the event, but I won't tell you. I can assure you that it will be the biggest spectacle in boxing. It won't be what we're all used to, because the Saudis do such events on a completely different level. It won't be, for example, some trivial press conference or something. It's a different way of doing things. Plus the attitude towards the fighters. Ask them how they're treated in the Kingdom. They're not just fighters there. They're taken care of," Abdallah said.

Recall that Saudi Arabia intends to organize Usik vs. Fury and Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) vs. Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) fights on the same night. Later, the media published the boxers' fees for the big show. The total amount will be at least $250 million. That said, Anthony has already confirmed his fight against Deontay.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the next fight of Alexander Usik caused a real stir in Poland. The legendary Lennox Lewis gave his forecast for the confrontation between the Ukrainian and Tyson Fury.
