The winner of the Usyk-Fury fight will face sanctions: what is the reason

The winner of the fight between Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) will be stripped of his International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt by June 1. This means that one of the boxers will hold the title of absolute world heavyweight champion for only a few weeks.

This is reported by the American TV channel ESPN. The IBF will put up its title for the fight between Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs), which will take place in Riyadh on the first day of summer. The organization believes that the Croatian boxer should have fought for the belt a long time ago, which was prevented by the confrontation between Usyk and Fury, which was postponed several times.
