"That didn't go as planned": Volodymyr Klychko shocked by Oval Office meeting
Former world heavyweight champion Volodymyr Klychko (64-5-0-1, 54 KOs) emotionally commented on the meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and the United States at the White House. The 48-year-old believes that despite different points of view, the fact remains: Russian aggression must be stopped.
"Wow. That didn't go as planned. Regardless of differing viewpoints, the facts are unmistakable: russian aggression needs to be stopped. Let's keep our eyes on the prize, which is human life and peace, and not reward putin for his actions. We 100% are grateful for all the countries who have shown support. Let us strive for constructive dialogue and maintain a focus on the principles of right and wrong, as well as the protection of innocent lives," Klychko wrote on X.
As reported earlier, during the talks at the White House, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US President Donald Trump, and Vice President J.D. Vance had a heated dispute over negotiations with Russia.
Vance criticized Zelenskyy for not thanking the US for the assistance, while Trump called for the agreement to be signed and the fighting to stop.
After tense talks with US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy left the White House early. The minerals agreement, as previously announced, was not signed.
