"Summer, Wembley Stadium": Fury agrees to fight Usyk after recording video for Ukrainian
British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) has offered Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) a fight this summer. The Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is known, agreed to hold the fight on the terms agreed by the boxers during negotiations in March, under which the Ukrainian would receive a 30% fee.
Fury said this in his new video message, which he posted on his Instagram page. Tyson added that Oleksandr could include a rematch clause in his version of the contract and promised that he would easily knock out the Ukrainian unified champion.
"I'm sick of all this talk. Why don't we just do it? Why don't we fight this summer? Me and you at Wembley Stadium for the fee split we've already agreed on. If you're so desperate for a rematch, you can include it in the contract. I don't need rematches, I don't need anything, because I'm going to knock you out. So, here's a proposal: let's have a fight at Wembley this summer, me and you. You've already beaten Joshua. All you have to do is get past me and you're the absolute champion," the Briton said.
Earlier, Tyson called Usyk an ugly coward, challenging him again. He also accused the Ukrainian of greed, which led to the disruption of the fight on April 29.
Recall that in December, Saudi Arabia intends to organise the Usyk-Fury and Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) - Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) fights on the same night. The media published the boxers' fees for the grand show. The total amount will be at least $250 million. At the same time, Anthony has already confirmed his fight against Deontay.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, at a press conference in Tenerife, Tyson Fury recently made a rude remark about Oleksandr Usyk. The Ukrainian boxer himself spoke unequivocally about the fight against the Gypsy King.
