"Strange feelings": Usyk answers questions about jaw fracture in Fury fight

World heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) confirmed that he was suspected of having a broken jaw after his fight with Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) on May 18. Our compatriot noted that after the fight, he turned to his team with a problem he had never encountered before.

Usyk said this in an interview with the 3 Knockdown Rule YouTube channel. According to the Ukrainian boxer, he underwent a medical examination that did not reveal any serious facial injuries but led to Oleksandr being suspended from fighting and training until July.

"Yes, I did feel something was wrong after the fight. It wasn't really pain. Just some strange feelings that I hadn't had before. I told my team that maybe we have a problem. But I just didn't understand what was going on. Thank God, everything was fine," Usyk said.

Before that, Oleksandr announced his radical plan to continue his career after the rematch with Tyson. The Ukrainian also named the most difficult moment of the fight with the Briton. In addition, our boxer spoke frankly about his opponent.
