"Our country is fighting": Usyk addressed Ukrainians and trolled haters

The day before, unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) celebrated his 37th birthday. On this occasion, the Ukrainian boxer addressed his compatriots and the defenders of our country who continue to resist Russian aggression.

Usyk posted a corresponding post on his Instagram page. The holder of three championship belts thanked his loyal fans for their support, reminded them that Ukraine is fighting for its independence and freedom, and trolled his haters.

"The long road is behind us, the most important battles are ahead. Our country is fighting its own battle, so I want to thank our heroes who are defending Ukraine. I thank everyone who believes in me and helps me: my beloved wife, mother, children, team and friends. I also thank those who do not believe in me: you only make me stronger on my way. Thank God for everything and glory to Ukraine!" - the boxer emphasized.
