"Not some small one": Fury issues warning about Usyk

Oleksandr ChekanovSport
Fury and Usyk failed to agree on a fight on April 29

The unified heavyweight champion (20-0, 13 KOs) can be considered the most dangerous opponent for the British Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs). The fight between our compatriot and the Gypsy King can end with any result.

This was stated in an interview with IFL TV by Tyson's uncle and former trainer Peter Fury. He praised the skills of our champion and expressed hope that the boxers will still enter the ring and determine the absolute world champion in the heavyweight division.

"Tyson is definitely better than Joshua and Wilder, but Usyk is a different level of player. A fight with him is not easy for any boxer. It's not going to be a cakewalk. He's not some small super heavyweight. This is a serious challenge, a close fight. It can end with any result. Usyk is dangerous. I think everyone in Tyson's team knows that, so you can't lose sight of him. Usyk is in his place, he's a serious fighter. The styles arrange fights - they just need to get stronger and prepare well," said Peter Fury.

Recall that Oleksandr and Tyson were supposed to fight on April 29, but failed to agree on a contract for the fight. Earlier, Usyk's manager Egis Klimas told us when the Ukrainian boxer will fight next. In addition, it became known who Fury will fight instead of the Ukrainian.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Oleksandr Usyk's next fight caused a real stir in Poland. The day before, the boxer came to support the Ukrainian military and came under fire from the occupiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how our champion was shooting from a mortar.
