Lomachenko reacted to his loss to Haynie

Former three-division world champion Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) again reacted to his defeat from American Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs). The Ukrainian boxer accepted with "gratitude and joy" the result of the May 20 fight, in which the judges unanimously awarded the victory to the U.S. representative, causing the anger of fans and experts.

About this Lomachenko wrote in his Telegram-channel. Vasyl, in Russian, thanked God for the fight and wished everyone peace. However, he did not mention his native country or the war that the Russian Federation continues to wage against Ukraine.


"Praise God for everything... Both victories and defeats! Only God knows what is best for us, at any given moment! So, with gratitude and joy we accept any result! Peace to all!" - Lomachenko commented on his performance.

Let's remind, the lightweight fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena Haney - Lomachenko went all 12 rounds and ended by unanimous decision of judges 116-112, 115-113, 115-113 in favor of the American.
