The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine has changed the wording of the order prohibiting Ukrainian athletes from competing in international competitions where representatives of Russia and Belarus are present. In the new version, the word "ban" was changed to "not to send" national teams to tournaments where athletes from Russia and Belarus are present.

It was:

"1. To prohibit the official delegations of the national teams of Ukraine in Olympic, non-Olympic sports and sports of persons with disabilities (hereinafter referred to as the official delegation) from participating in international sports competitions in which athletes from the Russian Federation and/or the Republic of Belarus take part."

It became:

"1. Taking into account the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 18 April 2023 No. 337 "On Amendments to Clause 15 of the Regulation on Granting National Status to a Sports Federation on a Competitive Basis and Deprivation of Such Status", the Departments of Olympic Sports, Physical Culture and Non-Olympic Sports, the Ukrainian Centre for Physical Culture and Sports of Persons with Disabilities "Invasport" shall not send official delegations of athletes of the national teams of Ukraine in Olympic, non-Olympic sports and sports of persons with disabilities, but to "send" official delegations of athletes of the national teams of Ukraine in Olympic, non-Olympic sports and sports of persons with disabilities"

Earlier, the Ministry of Sports of Ukraine reported that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, 300 Ukrainian athletes have already died, having changed their uniforms for a pixel, taken up arms and gone to defend their homeland from the occupiers.
