Famous Ukrainian track and field athlete Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk will not compete in the finals of the Diamond League, which will be held in the U.S. Eugene on September 16-17. According to Suspilne, the 28-year-old native of Khmelnytsky refused to participate in the main start of the fall due to health problems.

Thus, our country in Eugene will be represented by Yaroslava Mahuchikh, Iryna Herashchenko, Yulia Levchenko, Andriy Protsenko (all in high jump), Anna Ryzhykova and Victoria Tkachuk (running).

As reported byOBOZREVATEL, on August 25, Maryna Bekh-Romanchukh won the silver medal in the world championship in Hungary. Our compatriot brought the first award to the country at the world championship.

On July 24, Maryna won gold in the triple jump at the European Games-2023 held in Poland. Bekh-Romanchuk became the champion of these competitions in individual competition for the first time in her career. Before that, the athlete's asset was "gold" 2019 in the team competition.

On August 20, 2022 Bekh-Romanchuk won the Multisport European Championships, which was held in Munich. Our compatriot became the best in the triple jump sector, showing a result of 15.02 m.
