Lomachenko was urged to stop doing "dirty sh*t"

Absolute world lightweight champion Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) called Vasyl Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) a "dirty boxer". Speaking to the local press, the American responded to journalists' questions about what he expects on the night of the fight with the Ukrainian.
"It's going to be a dirty fight. He's a dirty fighter," boxingscene.com quoted Devin as saying.
Haney did not specify what exactly Vasyl's "dirt" is, but he called on Loma to stop this "sh*t".
"He's got skills, don't get me wrong, but he relies a lot on dirty tactics. Stop training for this dirty sh*t. Give me a fair fight. I know you want to fight dirty, but it's not going to work," the American champion said.
The boxingscene.com journalists clarify that despite such harsh criticism, Haney is well aware that his future opponent is dangerous not only because of his backstage tricks.
Not so long ago, Lomachenko not only topped the lightweight division as the only champion, but, according to most experts, was considered the best fighter in boxing regardless of weight class.
At the peak of his career, Vasyl was pushed off his "throne" in 2020, in a fight against Teofimo Lopez. Since then, Haynie has been able to win the same titles that once belonged to Lomachenko.
We would like to remind you that the Haney-Lomachenko fight will take place in Las Vegas, USA, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. OBOZREVATEL will broadcast the fight online. The approximate start is at 6:00 on Sunday, May 21, Kyiv time.
