Former three-division world champion Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) recorded his first appeal to fans after his fight against Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs). The Ukrainian boxer thanked his fans and fans of the sport for their support and expressed his agreement with the fact that at least he drew the fight on May 20.

The corresponding video was published on Lomachenko's Instagram page, which is not available in Ukraine. He also hinted that he had no plans to end his career after the loss to Haney, and in traditional style thanked God for everything.

"In the last couple of days I got a lot of messages with words of support, warm words of encouragement. A lot of people write and convince us that we didn't lose this fight. Basically, we agree with you on that. Especially those people who love, appreciate and respect the sport. Here, our opinions are the same. But we have what we have. You must remain human in any situation. It means that it is the will of the Almighty, of God. So thank God for everything. See you soon," said Lomachenko.

We should remind, that lightweight fight between Haney and Lomachenko at MGM Grand Garden Arena went all 12 rounds and ended by unanimous decision of judges 116-112, 115-113, 115-113 in favor of American. It should be noted that the judges' notes, which were published after the fight, caused a heated debate among experts and fans.

Lomachenko's team has announced that they are filing a protest of the fight result. In addition, the statistics of the fight confirm that the Ukrainian won at least five rounds. Russian boxer Sergey Kovalev said that fans swore at the judges as they left the gym after Haney's victory.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, famous boxing coach Teddy Atlas demanded the Nevada Athletic Commission to start proceedings against one of the judges of the Lomachenko-Haney fight. It also became known how much the Ukrainian boxer earned for the fight.
