Lomachenko did not say "Ukraine", putting the "country" he will fight for in the 4th place
Boxer Vasil Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) during an interview in the USA did not say for which country he was going to fight. At the media day dedicated to the upcoming fight between Loma and the undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs), Vasya also answered the question about what this fight means to him.
Listing the main symbols of his life, Lomachenko put Ukraine in fourth place, but without mentioning its name.
"This is my goal, my dream, I can't wait. It's all for God, for my father, for my family. And of course, it's for my country. Less talk. Just wait until Saturday evening, May 20. I'm healthy and ready. This everything," Lomachenko said.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the approximate broadcast time of the fight between Lomachenko and the owner of the WBC, WBA Super, IBF and WBO championship belts Haney is 6:00 am Kyiv time on Sunday, May 21.
Ukrainian TV channels did not schedule the show of the fight.
Let's note that Devin promised to straighten out the Ukrainian and reminded that several years ago our compatriot didn't accept the fight with him, making a long way to his goal.
For his part, Lomachenko talked about how he reacted to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Also, our boxer admitted what mistake he made before his loss to Teofimo Lopez.
Also, Lomachenko and Haney got into an altercation at the new Las Vegas meeting.
