Sleptsova is outraged by the Olympics

Olympic champion Svetlana Sleptsova was outraged by the conditions of participation of Russian athletes at the 2024 Games in Paris. The former biathlete particularly criticized the exclusion of representatives of the aggressor country from the opening and closing ceremonies.

Sleptsova said this in an interview with the propaganda news agency R-Sport. The winner of the 2010 Vancouver Games in the relay race called the conditions for Russians "like in some kind of concentration camp" and expressed confidence that many athletes from the Russian Federation would simply not be allowed to enter the French capital.

"You can't come to the opening ceremony, and you can't come to the closing ceremony either. Probably, you still have to go to the toilet on schedule. Like in some kind of concentration camp. This is not a holiday or the Olympics, but a kind of test. Those who are ready for it should go. I think that in the end none of our people will go to Paris. Perhaps only tennis players, but they are fine. Moreover, I will say that if someone does decide to go, they will be deployed at the border and simply not allowed to go. They will cite problems with documents, for example. They will do everything to prevent Russians from participating in the Games," Sleptsova said.

Earlier it became known that representatives of the Russian national fencing team will not participate in the 2024 Olympic Games.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Russian national swimming team will not participate in the 2024 Olympic Games. And the team's head coach Sergey Chepik called the Olympic Games a tournament of "NATO countries and their minions."
