Four-time Olympic biathlon champion Alexander Tikhonov believes it is necessary to physically harm Europe and the rest of NATO countries because the IOC allowed Russia to participate in the 2024 Olympics in the status of a refugee. Thus, the 76-year-old native of Chelyabinsk reacted to the possible criteria for the admission of Russians to the Games in Paris.
"If I had the chance, I would turn all of Europe, all the NATO countries into refugees. A bunch of idiots, moral and political, have created this situation all over the globe. It won't last long, I have no doubt about it, because the hegemony of the United States is ending," R-Sport quoted the titled former biathlete as saying.

Tikhonov didn't hold back when talking about Americans.
"They're a bunch of freaks who only think about America, and they don't really care if someone is starving to death, if there's a war going on. I experienced it myself when I was sitting in a bomb shelter in Belgrade and they were bombing the city," the Russian veteran summed up.
