Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) will earn $900,000 for his fight against WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO lightweight titles holder Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs), Champion reports. The fight will take place on May 20 in Las Vegas, USA.

According to the publication, in case of victory over the American, the 35-year-old native of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi will have the opportunity to claim the championship again. If Lomachenko loses, the best he can hope for is a move to the elite junior division, where young and promising boxers will build their records. The Ukrainian boxer can earn up to $100,000 for one such fight.

After winning his last fight against the American Jemaine Ortiz, Loma received $2 million.

In December 2021, Lomachenko defeated Ghanaian Richard Commey (30-4-1, 27 KOs) by unanimous decision. Vasya earned a guaranteed $750,000.
