World Boxing Council (WBC) belt holder Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) will not fight Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs). The Gypsy King, as the Briton is called, is not interested in the fight because he is not sure of his victory.

This opinion was expressed by former world middleweight champion George Groves on talkSPORT Boxing, Boxing News 24 reports. He noted that Fury will need a long rest and recovery after the fight against Francis Ngannou (0-1, 0 KOs), and the fight with Usyk will be even harder.

"I don't think Fury will fight again, but if he does fight again, he'll do it with Ngannou. I don't think he'll fight Usyk. Because now he's thinking, does he really need to drop everything and maybe get a landmark victory over Usyk and the biggest payday, or will he get beaten? It will be interesting to see how Fury comes off the Usyk fight, but he'll find a good excuse, just like we saw when the fight was postponed from December 23. He needs a good long rest," Groves said.
