"If it happens, he'll be beaten": Britain questions holding of Usyk-Fury fight
Froch spoke about the fight between Usyk and Fury

Former world middleweight champion Carl Froch expressed confidence that the fight between Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) will not take place. According to the Briton, his compatriot looks like a clear outsider in the confrontation, which he will avoid in every way possible.

Froch said this in a commentary to the popular Boxing Scene portal. The former boxer noted that he does not believe in Fury's serious attitude to fighting and sports in general, and also called Tyson's size his main problem in a fight against the lighter and faster Usyk.

Comparative characteristics of Usyk and Fury.

"I don't think the Fury-Usyk fight will take place. If it does happen, it means that Fury just likes money, he'll get enough of it. He doesn't need to fight. If he fights Usyk, he will get beaten. If he doesn't rekindle his old motivation, he's easy to beat. I don't think it will be a knockout or anything like that. I just think it's going to be a points job or maybe a late stoppage because Usyk is a lot smaller than him and a little bit lighter," Froch said.

As a reminder, Usyk and Fury will fight on May 18, after the fight in February had to be postponed due to the British fighter's cut. Afterward, Tyson spoke frankly about his injury. In addition, the Croatian heavyweight Agron Smakic (20-2, 18 KOs), who delivered the fatal blow, presented his version of the event.

Dereck Chisora (34-14, 23 KOs), a former rival of the two boxers, gave his categorical forecast for the fight. In addition, the legendary Vitaliy Klychko gave original advice to the Gypsy King.

At the same time, the Ukrainian's team has already decided on a boxer who will replace Tyson if he refuses to enter the ring again. If the Briton does so, he will also face a multimillion-dollar fine.
