"I don't care": boxing legend tells why Usyk will lose to Fury

Jones made a prediction for the fight between Usyk and Fury

Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) will only be able to defeat Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) if he behaves sharply in the ring. Otherwise, the Briton will take advantage of his physical superiority and win all the belts in the division.

This opinion was expressed by former world champion in four weight categories Roy Jones Jr. in an interview with talkSPORT Drive. According to the American, who is a fan of the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin and holds a Russian passport, Fury will approach the fight against Usyk with a different attitude than he did in the fight with Francis Ngannou (0-2, 2 KOs).

"Usyk is a great tactician, but he's not explosive. If he was sharp, it would be a problem for Fury. When you're undersized and going up against big guys, you need to be explosive, otherwise you won't be taken seriously. If Usyk can't find that skill before the fight takes place, he won't beat Tyson Fury. And I don't care what anyone says. Tyson Fury didn't take Ngannou seriously, and he didn't look like he was supposed to in the fight with Ngannou. But he's still Tyson Fury, and he's definitely going to take Usyk seriously," Jones said.
