The unified world champion Oleksandr Usyk (34-0-1, 24 KOs) is the most outstanding heavyweight in the history of boxing. Not a single representative of the division, including the legendary American Evander Holyfield, will be able to match the Ukrainian athlete.

Such a categorical opinion was expressed by former world champion Tony Bellew in an interview with The Matchroom Boxing Podcast, The Independent reports. He noted that if Holyfield and Usyk met in their peak form, the Ukrainian would win an easy victory.

"This guy is the greatest cruiserweight who ever lived. There's no heavyweight in the history of sports who has beaten Oleksandr Usyk, and I don't care who you are. Evander Holyfield? Usyk would have simply destroyed him, and Holyfield would not have even been able to hit the Ukrainian," Bellew said.

As a reminder, the former British boxer fought Usyk in his last career fight. In November 2018, the Ukrainian knocked out Bellew in the ninth round and defended his title of absolute world heavyweight champion, after which he was promoted to the king's division.
