Rahman gives prediction for Usyk vs Fury fight

Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) will come out victorious in his fight against Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) for the world heavyweight title. Our compatriot will wear out his opponent with quick footwork for all 12 rounds and then knock him out.

This opinion was expressed by a legendary world champion Hasim Rahman in an interview to YouTube channel FightHype, writes Boxing Social. He also underlined, that Usik will not let Romani King, as they call Manchester native, to pile on himself, and Fury himself will just get tired of running after the Ukrainian.

"Tyson Fury's biggest advantage is that most heavyweights are very slow and he uses boxing against them. But Usyk is in his prime and I think he can beat Tyson Fury. Fury's size would be an advantage with most superweights just standing in front of you and who Fury can just pile on. But Usyk is not that kind of fighter, he won't let him just use his weight and his size. Usyk will use jerks and do it all 12 rounds and I think Tyson will be exhausted. Usyk will exhaust him and probably knock him out," said Rahman.

As a reminder, Usyk is scheduled for a mandatory defence against Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) on August 26. Saudi Arabia is set to host Usyk vs Fury and Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) vs Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) on the same night in December. The media has published the boxers' fees for the big show. With that said, Anthony has already confirmed his fight against Deontay.

At a press conference in Tenerife, Tyson Fury recently made a snide remark about Oleksandr Usyk. He also promised to destroy the Ukrainian champion.

The Ukrainian boxer revealed that he was going to set up a fight with the British. Oleksandr also accused his rival of lying and then unexpectedly addressed the Gypsy King. In response, Tyson's team noted that Usyk is only interested in money.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Tyson Fury unexpectedly changed his rhetoric in his remarks about Oleksandr Usyk, wishing him good luck. And former world champion Jonny Nelson trashed the British champion over his fight with the Ukrainian.
