Usyk and Fury will fight in the ring in May

Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) continues to prepare for his fight against Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs). The fight is still six and a half weeks away, but the Ukrainian is already in great shape, which has been noticed by British fans.

A video of one of the Ukrainian boxer's workouts was posted on Usyk's Instagram page, which delighted fans, talkSport writes. The video shows our compatriot working out on a punching bag with stretch marks, developing combinations.

Boxing fans from the UK noted that Usyk is in perhaps the best shape of his career. Some of them have no doubt that Oleksandr will defeat their compatriot.

Earlier, the head of the World Boxing Council (WBC) Mauricio Suleiman came up with the idea of approving six judges at once, not three, to score the fight between Usyk and Fury. He predicted a catastrophe in the fight if his proposal was not supported, and also announced a radical decision regarding the fight.

Before that, Tyson promised to beat Usyk easily and also mentioned the war in Ukraine. In turn, Oleksandr told what he would do if the Briton refused to enter the ring on May 18.
