Tszyu praised Usyk

The legendary Russian boxer Konstantin Tszyu has named Ukrainian unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) as the strongest representative of his division. According to the former welterweight belt holder, the Ukrainian has proved his class by defeating Daniel Dubois (19-2, 18 KOs).

Ju said this in a comment to Gazeta.Ru. The former boxer added that it's too early to talk about Usyk's confrontation with British Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs), as the contract for the fight has not yet been signed, and the Gypsy King himself is still waiting for a freak fight against MMA fighter Francis Ngannou.

"Politics doesn't matter at all, Usyk is a very good boxer. The fight against Tyson Fury? There's no point in talking about Fury until it happens. At the moment, Usyk is the strongest heavyweight on the planet, he has proved it," said Ju.

It will be recalled that the Usyk-Dubois fight ended in the 9th round when the Briton missed a heavy punch to the head. In total, Daniel missed 88 punches to the body and head from the Ukrainian.
