"He is dangerous": Klychko's ex-rival warned Usyk before the fight with Dubois

Famous Polish superfighter Mariusz Wach (37-10, 20 KOs) advised Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) to be as concentrated as possible in the initial stage of the fight against Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs). The former opponent of Volodymyr Klychko expressed confidence that the Ukrainian champion will not leave a chance to his opponent.
Wach, who is Usyk's sparring partner, said this in an interview with Xsport.ua. The 43-year-old boxing veteran emphasized that he is incredibly encouraged by the fact that the Ukrainian champion will defend his titles in Wroclaw, his hometown.
"This is the second time I am Usyk's sparring partner. The first time I helped him was at the training camp in Turkey this spring. This time I was invited by his team director Serhiy Lapyn. I think that the stadium will be full, because this is the first fight for the belt of the world champion in the heavyweight division in Poland for many years. It's hard to say exactly how the fight will go because it's a heavyweight fight and everything can be decided by one punch. Dubois is a young boxer and has punching power. I can say that he is dangerous in the first phase of the fight in the first two or three rounds, then Usyk will take the advantage and leave him no chance," Wach said.
Usyk - Dubois will take place on August 26. In case of victory, Oleksandr hopes to fight for the title of absolute world champion with Fury, whom the Ukrainian recently complemented. Tyson himself mocked the Ukrainian for the fight against his compatriot.
Saudi Arabia intends to organize Usyk - Fury and Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) - Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) fights in one night. The media published the boxers' fees for the grand show. That said, Anthony has already confirmed his bout against Deontay.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the famous Russian promoter Vladimir Khryunov wished Oleksandr Usyk defeat in the fight with Daniel Dubois. The Brit himself spoke about the fear he saw in the eyes of the Ukrainian during the duel of glances.
Usyk also has a spectacular fan in Britain, while Tyson Fury pounced on Oleksandr with humiliation and threats.
