Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) failed to win the world title for the second time in his career. Our compatriot lost by unanimous decision to American Dvin Haney (30-0, 16 KOs).

In the end, the judges' notes decided everything. In spite of the dominance of the Ukrainian in the last rounds they unanimously gave the victory to Haney - 116:112, 115:113, 115:113.
It is interesting, that one of the judges almost completely gave the second half of the fight to the American. However, his colleagues were less categorical.
