World Boxing Council (WBC) belt holder Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) has admitted that he faced real harassment when he started out in the sport. The Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is called, added that no one believed in his ability to become a world heavyweight champion.

Fury said this in an interview with the press service of the Queensberry Promotions company, which published the video on its page on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter. According to Tyson, he has always dreamed of becoming a world boxing champion.

"I don't like bullying. Boxing is like an art. I always wanted to become a world heavyweight champion. Other kids wanted to be police officers, firefighters, astronauts, football players, but I wanted to be a heavyweight champion. Always. And I stuck to this dream. They told me I couldn't do it, that I was a big fat kid, long and clumsy. "He's not Muhammad Ali or Mike Tyson. He's a fat kid from Manchester,' they said," Fury said.
