British trainer Don Charles criticized unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs). The coach of Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) called our compatriot a fake belt holder and accused him of fraud.

Charles said this in an interview with talkSPORT Fight Night. The specialist's indignation was caused by the moment in the fifth round of the Usyk-Dubois fight last August when the Briton punched our compatriot below the belt. Daniel's mentor strongly disagreed with this and noted that the Ukrainian was allegedly simulating a hit in the forbidden zone.

"Mr. Usyk is a fake. He is an exceptional boxer, a genius for what he has done and what he can do. But he is a fraud, a liar, and a cheat. Usyk considers himself a religious man. He is constantly baptized. One of the Ten Commandments reads: "Thou shalt not cheat." He should get an Oscar for this game. I have said this in many, many interviews. No, it was not a punch below the belt, damn it," Charles said.

As a reminder, in August 2023, Usyk beat Dubois by TKO in the ninth round. On May 18, 2024, the Ukrainian defeated Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) by split decision and became the absolute world champion in the heavyweight division.

A month after the fight, the Ukrainian was forced to give up the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt, which Dubois defended on September 21 by brutally knocking out Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs).

Before that, Oleksandr spoke categorically about what would happen if Tyson tried to disrupt the rematch. He also shared his expectations for the second fight with Fury and responded to accusations of cheating during the May 18 fight. In addition, Oleksandr told what he learned from this fight.

The legendary Wladimir Klitschko shared his expectations for the rematch between Usyk and Fury. And ex-champion Amir Khan disagreed with the forecasts for the boxers' second fight. In addition, Russian Alexander Povetkin attributed the success of our compatriot to Russia.

In turn, Russian boxing coach Andrei Ivichuk called Tyson the winner of the upcoming rematch with Oleksandr. And the Ukrainian named the only boxer he is interested in fighting after the second fight with the Briton.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Anthony Joshua answered the question of who he would like to see win the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. The Briton himself named his motivation for the second fight against our compatriot. He also told when he would start preparing for the fight.
