"Fake, fraudster, and liar": Dubois' coach criticizes Usyk
British trainer Don Charles criticized unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs). The coach of Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) called our compatriot a fake belt holder and accused him of fraud.
Charles said this in an interview with talkSPORT Fight Night. The specialist's indignation was caused by the moment in the fifth round of the Usyk-Dubois fight last August when the Briton punched our compatriot below the belt. "Mr. Usyk is a fake. He is an exceptional boxer, a genius for what he has done and what he can do. But he is a fraud, a liar, and a cheat. Usyk considers himself a religious man. He is constantly baptized. One of the Ten Commandments reads: "Thou shalt not cheat." He should get an Oscar for this game. I have said this in many, many interviews. No, it was not a punch below the belt, damn it," Charles said.
