Absolute world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) cannot be deprived of his International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt due to his suspension after defeating Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs). For this reason, the title will not be on the line for the fight between Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs) and Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs), which will take place on June 1.

This was announced by promoter Frank Warren in an interview with the Seconds Out YouTube channel, Boxing News 24 reports. The representative of Fury and Dubois noted that the rematch between Tyson and Alexander should take place for all four belts, so he has no problems with the status of the fight on June 1.

"Usyk has been suspended from boxing, as far as I remember, for 40-45 days. So he can't be deprived of the championship belt now because he can't defend it. The fight between Dubois and Hrgovic is fantastic. The worst-case scenario is that it will be an interim fight for the title. I have no problem with that. Maybe people from Hrgovich's camp will be angry, but I think the rematch between Usyk and Fury should be for four belts," Warren said.
