Crazy: Russian Olympic champion said that his country is opposed by "an overwhelming minority"

Mamiashvili criticized the IOC

Mikhail Mamiashvili, president of the Russian Wrestling Federation, called the pressure of the "overwhelming minority" of the country to exclude Russian athletes from international competitions. The Olympic champion of Seoul-88 was indignant about the ban on the demonstration of national symbols of the aggressor country at tournaments.

Mamiashvili said this in a comment for the propaganda news agency R-Sport. The former wrestler, who beat his ward at the Rio Olympics in 2016, accused the International Olympic Committee of politicizing sports.

"I, as any normal person, have the most negative opinion of these decisions. Not a single charter, not a single statute of any sports federation prescribes the ban on the national flag. This is unprecedented political pressure. I declare with full responsibility, that is the case of the overwhelming minority. Thus, to be objective, to a certain extent they understand that they have to comply with this minority. But, on the other hand, it leads to the collapse of the Olympic movement," said Mamiashvili.

Earlier, he suggested "to visit Paris on tanks" because of the IOC plans to allow the Russians to the Olympics 2024 in the status of the national team of refugees.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Olympic champion Yury Borzakovsky explained the suspension of athletes from international competitions by the West's fear of "the strongest athletes in the world" from Russia.
