Välbe spoke about the IOC's requirements

Three-time Olympic champion Elena Välbe has expressed the absurd idea that world sport suffers from the suspension of Russian athletes. The former skier also added that representatives of the aggressor country should not agree to the conditions of admission to the competition, which were previously published by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Välbe said this in a commentary to the propaganda news agency TASS. In a manner typical of citizens of the Russian terrorist state, she tried to measure everything with money, which Russia has been actively using to buy the loyalty of European officials.

"World sport suffers from the absence of Russian athletes. Everyone is used to counting money, and without our athletes, how can we earn it? I don't know. But this is their problem. And I believe, as I have said many times before, that we should not go to the Olympic Games and international competitions without the flag and anthem," said Välbe.

As a reminder, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended that federations suspend Russian athletes who are affiliated with the Russian army and law enforcement agencies, as well as team sports.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the IOC refused to hold additional qualifying tournaments for the Olympic Games in Paris so that Russians who had previously been returned to international competitions could compete for tickets to the competition.
