"Are you okay with your head?" Bonya's action at the Usyk fight "blew up" the Russian turbopatriots. Photo fact
Russian actress and TV presenter Victoria Bonya came to Riyadh to watch Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury, which caused a flurry of criticism among her Russian followers. The former contestant of the reality show "Dom-2" took a picture with the Ukrainian's championship belt.
The post itself garnered a lot of negative reactions, and Russian turbo-patriots had a "nuclear explosion" in the comments.
"Usyk? Who donates to the Armed Forces of Ukraine? Are you okay with your head?" - "patriots" began to shout, not hiding their indignation. Other users recalled Usyk's Crimean origin, calling him a "traitor" and "apostate."
"We were proud of him in Crimea, and now he has betrayed us," Simferopol residents wrote, accusing the boxer of betraying their expectations.
But it was Victoria Bonya's participation in the show that added the most fire to the discussion.
"You recently returned from Russia, raised our flag, and now you support a Ukrainian athlete. Where is the logic?" she was reproached on social media. Some even said they had lost interest in her: "I don't want to watch you anymore, you lie a lot!"
Bonya herself refrained from commenting on her trip to the fight.
