"All his bravado": the Russian national team maliciously assessed Usyk's chances in the fight with Fury

Eduard Kravtsov, the head of the Russian boxing team's coaching council, made ridiculous statements about Oleksandr Usyk's (21-0, 14 KOs) chances in a fight against Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs). The Russian representative called the British boxer the favorite of the confrontation, and the Ukrainian's weakness was his patriotic position.

He said this in an interview with Championship.com. According to him, Fury's superiority in physical data speaks in favor of him, while Usyk allegedly holds his punches to the body poorly. At the same time, the Russian considers this a manifestation of Alexander's psychological weakness, to which the coach of the Russian national team attributed the boxer's pro-Ukrainian statements.

"I take the best Usyk and the best Fury. For me, Tyson is the leader. 60 to 40. No one has canceled the 20-kilogram advantage. Fury will use his weight tactically. Usyk has problems with his body and psychology. He is more careful. But now this is one of the problems. And with the body. It's not the first time he's had these issues. The body is psychology. He gives himself a slack and breaks down. All its bravado, political statements... All this is a defensive reaction to the weakness of psychology," Kravtsov said.
