Polish experts and boxing fans expressed their dissatisfaction with the organization of the broadcast of the fight between Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs), which will take place in Wroclaw on August 26. Megogo exclusive broadcaster of the fight, at the stake of which will stand three championship belts of the Ukrainian, stumped our neighbors.
As sports editorial board of the Wirtualna Polska portal notes, Polish fans did not even know about the existence of such a service as Megogo. The famous journalist Mateusz Borek called the decision of the organizers to show the fight in this way absurd.
"Holding a TV broadcast of this project in Poland is absurd. It could not have been worse," he wrote on Twitter.
It should be noted that the broadcast of the Usyk - Dubois fight will cost 15 zlotys (134.5 UAH) for Polish fans. Just as in Ukraine, the broadcast of the fight will be accompanied by an analytical studio with the participation of experts, journalists and former and current boxers.
On the eve of the fight, the Briton made a bold promise. In case of victory over his opponent, the Ukrainian hopes to fight for the title of absolute world champion with Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs), whom Usyk complimented. Tyson himself unexpectedly calmly spoke about Oleksandr and the disruption of the fight on April 26.
