11th medal. Ukraine at the 2024 Olympics: schedule and results on August 9

Friday, August 9, is one of the two busiest days of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The athletes are competing for as many as 34 sets of medals.

The Ukrainians are competing in six disciplines: diving, rhythmic gymnastics, rowing, wrestling, breaking, modern pentathlon and synchronized swimming. At the same time, gymnast Taisiia Onofriichuk will compete for awards in the individual all-around. Liudmyla Luzan and Anastasiia Rybachok became the vice-champions of the Olympic Games in rowing.

UKRAINE'S SCHEDULE AND RESULTS AT THE AUGUST 9TH OLYMPICS

11.00. Diving. 10m tower, preliminary round (m) - Oleksii Sereda - 5th place, advanced to the final.

11.00. Rhythmic gymnastics. Group all-around, qualification - Ukraine - 3rd place, advanced to the final.

11:30. Rowing sprint. Canoe doubles 500m, semifinals (w) - Luzan/Rybachok - 3rd place, advanced to the final.

12:00. Wrestling. Women's freestyle wrestling, 62 kg, 1/8 finals (w) - Iryna Koliadenko - Orkhon Purevdorj (Mongolia).

Freestyle wrestling, 125 kg, 1/8 finals (b) - Oleksandr Khotsianovskiy - Geno Petriashvili (Georgia).

13:40. Canoe Sprint. Canoe double 500m, final (w) - Luzan/Rybachok - 2nd place / REPORT

15:30. Rhythmic gymnastics. Individual all-around, final - Taisiia Onofriichuk.

17:07. Breaking. B-girls - Kate, Stefani.

18:40. Modern pentathlon. Individual competition, semifinal B, fencing, bonus round (w) - Oleksandr Tovkay, Vladyslav Chekan.

20:30. Synchronized swimming. Duets, technical program - Ukraine.
