Zelenska appeared in public in a brooch Dove for 8800 UAH from Gunia Project: what it symbolizes
First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska attended a meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council for the Implementation of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program, where 11 ministries and agencies summarized the year's results and presented their projects of psychological assistance to Ukrainians. For the official meeting, the wife of the Ukrainian president wore a symbolic brooch from the world-famous domestic brand Gunia Project.
The cost of the authentic jewelry is 8800 hryvnias. Its symbolism and uniqueness were described by the craftsmen on the brand's website.
Thus, the product description states that the gold brooch in the shape of a dove is inspired by the decorations of a loaf.
"A dough dove often decorated ceremonial bread and could also be baked separately. This bird is a recognizable attribute of the Ukrainian wedding tradition," the Gunia Project website says.
Each of these Doves is handmade by craftsmen from sterling silver with gilding.
A brooch adorned the collar of Olena Zelenska's stylish brown jacket. As you can see from the photo, the first lady was wearing a classic three-piece suit consisting of pants, a vest and a jacket. She also wore a lighter brown blouse underneath. Among other jewelry, the guarantor's wife wore neat gold earrings.
It should be noted that Gunia Project is a brand of exceptional items made on the basis of ethnic traditions of Ukraine. In their collections, they combine folk traditions, folklore elements, everyday culture, modernity, and an individual design approach. Among the brand's fans are many foreign stars, including Kylie Jenner, Lily Collins and others.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Olena Zelenska met with a large family from Kherson region, whose home was attacked by Russian terrorists, in a casual manner. The first lady, who prefers business casual clothes as she always attends official meetings, came out to meet Ukrainians in an oversized parka and comfortable galoshes.
