"You're really cool, my friend": Usyk reacts to new threats from Fury
The unified world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) calmly reacted to a new provocation from Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs). Our compatriot did not succumb to it but rather noted the high level of his closest rival.
On his Instagram page, Usyk left only five words in response to Fury's insults and his promise to knock out the Ukrainian in his next fight, taking revenge for his defeat on May 18 and becoming world heavyweight champion for the third time.
"You are really cool, my friend," wrote Usyk, who is already training at his camp, on his Stories.
As a reminder, on May 18, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision - 114:113, 113:114, 115:112 - and became the absolute world heavyweight champion. A month after the fight, the Ukrainian was forced to give up his International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt.
