"Will make it even brighter": famous Ukrainian boxer tells what will happen in the Usyk-Fury fight
Former world champion Alina Shaternikova believes Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24) is a very difficult opponent for Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs). She noted that the Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is called, has very good technique and moves quickly on his feet.
Shaternikova said this in an interview with the Dim TV channel. The vice president of the National League of Professional Boxing of Ukraine emphasized that Usyk will have to solve a very difficult task - to reach his striking distance, as Tyson works perfectly with the jab.
"In my opinion, Tyson Fury has a lot of boxing skills that will be difficult for Oleksandr Usyk to cope with. Especially his very good hand speed, he maneuvers well, moves around the ring. He tries to never be a static target. Accordingly, Oleksandr will need to go to his striking distance, and Tyson Fury works great with his jab and he will not let Oleksandr get close to him. The two boxers have different styles, and I think that will make this fight even more exciting," Shaternikova said.
