Usyk agreed to fight with an "incredible man"
WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) has agreed to fight with the famous Ukrainian streamer Mykhailo Lebiha. The athlete responded to a challenge from a blogger who offered a fight with an unusual prize – a sandwich.
The 27-year-old streamer, who was running a charity weight loss streaming marathon, challenged Usyk to a duel during one of his broadcasts.
"Oleksandr Usyk, I'm wearing your gloves and I challenge you to a sparring match. Whoever wins our battle gets a sandwich with two pieces of sausage. Do you have it or not?" said the native of Khmelnytskyi.
The boxer soon responded: "Hello, incredible man, I'm ready. A loaf of bread, lots of sausage and beer."
The news attracted the attention of the Top Boxing Generation promotional company, which said that the Lebiha–Usyk fight would be "the main arena of the country this spring."
We would like to remind you that now the most likely opponent of Oleksandr is the British Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs), who holds the title of the International Boxing Federation (IBF). It was this title that the Ukrainian was forced to give up after his first victory over Fury.
On February 13, it was reported that Usyk was ready to fight the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (12-2, 10 KOs).
It also became known that the 38-year-old Crimean plans to end his professional boxing career within the next two years and will probably only fight two fights.
