Ishmuratova criticizes the IOC

Two-time Olympic champion Svetlana Ishmuratova has made a ridiculous statement that the global sports community cannot exist without Russia. The former biathlete called the conditions for the admission of athletes from the Russian Federation to international competitions and the 2024 Games in Paris in particular a mockery.

Ishmuratova said this on the air on the Match TV propaganda TV channel. The Vladimir Putin regime's accomplice, who holds the rank of lieutenant colonel in the army of the Russian occupiers, called for "countermeasures" against the International Olympic Committee (IOC), which has so far allowed only six representatives of the Russian Federation to participate in the 2024 Olympics.

"Six athletes is a devastating number, a mockery. This is humiliation! The IOC has outlived its usefulness. We need to take countermeasures, hold our own competitions, and develop sports within our country. We need to come up with new proposals, such as the Friendship Games, the BRICS Games, and so on. We need to work in this direction. It is wrong and irrelevant to pay attention to their messages. We will live without them, and they will feel very bad without us," Ishmuratova said.
